AirSlax is a Linux mini-distro designed to test WiFi access points for hack resistance. It comes in two versions: Free (free) and Pro (paid). The Pro version allows you to automatically hack WiFi by brute forcing passwords and utilizing your video card's processing power (works much faster than if you only use your CPU).
AirSlax PRO is based on Kali Linux
. The main difference of the distribution is that it has an integrated script for automatic WiFi hacking. The user does not need to know how to use Linux systems and does not need to interact with the terminal.
- hacking traffic;
- hacking WiFi through a WPS (the utility includes dictionaries with a list of the most commonly used PIN codes);
- decrypt captured packets (helps extract the password);
- Deauthenticate all users connected to the "under attack" access point;
- intercept handshake keys;
- change device MAC address (to ensure privacy).
Works with WPA/WPA2 and WEP encryption (WPA3 is not supported yet). It is completely in Russian language (build is created by Russian programmers). It supports both x86 and x64 processors (the boot mode is selected by user from the boot menu). It can be run in Legacy BIOS mode, as well as in UEFI.
The distribution can also be used for monitoring and diagnostics of the local network hacking resistance. But only WiFi access points are scanned, Ethernet is not.
How to use
Download AirSlax PRO in the form of ISO-image. Then you need to write it to a removable drive and boot your PC or notebook from it (you should select USB-HDD in the BIOS). In Windows you can make a bootable rescue media using Rufus, UltraISO. In Linux - with the command "dd" (in the terminal). It is possible to work with AirSlax without installing it to the hard disk. No temporary data is stored on the removable drive, which means that the "victim" will not be able to track the break-in.
