WiFi Analyzer is an application for monitoring WiFi airwaves using an Android device. Shows all the technical information about WiFi in range, allows you to determine the least busy data channel. Compatible with the latest versions of the
802.11ax standard, detects networks at 5 GHz as well. There is also a ported version of the utility for Windows from a third-party developer (distributed through the Windows Store).
Functionality of the application
With the program you can:
- display a list of all WiFi in range of the device;
- know which channels are busiest;
- get detailed information about all access points in range (signal strength, frequency, local device IP, DNS, encryption type used);
- detect wireless networks with hidden SSID;
- know the current maximum connection speed to each access point.
WiFi Analyzer PRO version is differentiated only by the lack of adware integration. The interface is completely in Russian (since version 3). Also compatible with Android set-top boxes, supports over 400 models of wireless adapters.
The installation requires the Android version 6.0, but the same 4PDA has mods, where the API requirements are lowered (i.e. the current versions of the application can also run on Android 4). There you can also download an application with an integrated Connecter Library package (will allow you to connect to detected wireless networks directly from the program).

WiFi Analyzer on Android is an indispensable thing when setting up a new router. The utility will allow you to determine the best place to install the router (so that a strong signal was even in remote areas of the premises) and the best channel to use, so that the network does not conflict with the WiFi neighbors (reduces the ping, prevents deauthorization of connected devices).
It will also be useful for system administrators configuring an array of local networks with disabled DHCP. The scanner will allow you to determine the local IP of each node.
